Wondering how the FCPS School Board candidates feel about elementary foreign language instruction?  Fairfax FLAGS sent out a short questionnaire to all candidates to give them an opportunity to present their views and the responses are in!  Visit Fairfax FLAGS to read responses, see incumbent voting history, and other pertinent information.

As many of you know, the upcoming School Board election is extremely important since six of the 12 current school board candidates are not running for re-election. When electing a new School Board, change can be positive while experience and organizational continuity are also important things to consider, especially when managing a $2.2 billion school budget. The bottom line - it is important to do your research and make an informed decision regarding the future direction of our school system when you vote on November 8th.

Check out the Fairfax FLAGS website for more information and links to other resources on the candidates such as:

Please feel free to contact us with any questions. Don't forget to mark your calendar, spend some time researching the candidates, and be sure to vote on November 8th.
